Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: June 1, 2026

Welcome to Tiny Tasks. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the purchase of the Tiny Tasks sensory fidget board (the "Product"). By accessing our website or purchasing our Product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Overview & Eligibility

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. Tiny Tasks reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our sole discretion.

2. Product Information & Use

  • Handcrafted Nature: The Tiny Tasks board is a sensory fidget tool designed for infants. Because our products may feature unique materials or assemblies, minor variations in texture, color, and finish are normal and do not constitute product defects.

  • Intended Use: The Product is designed strictly for sensory exploration and fine motor development under direct adult supervision.

3. Mandatory Safety & Supervision Warning

⚠️ WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD & SAFETY DISCLAIMER

ADULT SUPERVISION REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES. While Tiny Tasks is designed and manufactured with infant safety as our highest priority, it contains moving parts and various tactile elements.

  • Never leave a child unattended with the Product.

  • Routinely inspect the board before every use to ensure all components remain securely attached. Discontinue use immediately if any part becomes loose, worn, or damaged.

  • The purchaser assumes all responsibility for ensuring the Product is used safely and in accordance with these guidelines.

4. Purchases and Payment

  • Pricing: All prices for our flagship Product are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Product at any time.

  • Order Accuracy: You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all orders. If we detect fraudulent or unauthorized activity, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund to the original payment method.

5. Shipping & Returns

  • Shipping: Shipping times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Tiny Tasks is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs.

  • Returns & Refunds: Because this is a high-touch children's item, returns are handled strictly according to hygiene and safety standards. Please review our Return Policy for details on eligible returns, defective items, and return shipping windows.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tiny Tasks, its directors, officers, employees, or affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Product.

By purchasing the Product, you acknowledge that children’s toys and sensory items require active monitoring, and you agree that Tiny Tasks is not liable for injuries resulting from unsupervised use, improper maintenance, or a failure to routinely inspect the Product for wear and tear.

7. Inspection Upon Arrival; No Extended Warranty

Because our busy boards (the “Product”) are designed for sensory exploration and active tactile play by infants and toddlers, they are subjected to constant, unpredictable forces (including repetitive pulling, twisting, dropping, and mouthing). Therefore, Tiny Tasks LLC (“Company,” “we,” or “us”) does not offer an extended post-use warranty.

Instead, we provide a Delivery and Inspection Guarantee. We warrant exclusively to the original purchaser that the Product will arrive free from manufacturing defects and shipping damage.

The 7-Day Inspection Window

You are required to thoroughly inspect the Product immediately upon delivery.

  • Any claims for manufacturing defects, missing components, or shipping damage must be reported to the Company within seven (7) calendar days of the carrier’s logged delivery date (the "Inspection Period").

  • If a valid, documented claim is received within this 7-day window, Company will, at its sole discretion, either repair the defect, ship a replacement component/board, or issue a refund.

  • After the 7-day Inspection Period expires, all Products are deemed fully accepted by the customer, and all sales are strictly final. No claims for defects, damages, or failures will be accepted.

What is Exclusively Excluded

Once the Product has been accepted (either explicitly or via the expiration of the 7-day window), this agreement strictly excludes any liability for damages or structural failures resulting from:

  • Play and Toddler Use: Dropping, throwing, stepping on, pulling with excessive force, or general rough play.

  • Environmental Exposure: Immersion in water, exposure to liquids, excessive moisture, extreme temperatures, or outdoor use/storage.

  • Alterations: Any attempts by the customer or third parties to modify, re-tighten, paint, or repair the Product's hardware or wooden components.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to the Tiny Tasks name, logo, product design, website layouts, images, and text, is the exclusive intellectual property of Tiny Tasks and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of our brand or Product without explicit written consent.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services or products shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Venue and Jurisdiction: You and we agree that any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services or products provided hereunder shall be instituted and litigated exclusively in the federal courts of the United States located in the State of Illinois. Each party irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts and waives any objection based on improper venue or inconvenient forum.

Class-Action Waiver: TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND WE AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. This means that you agree not to bring or participate in any class action, class arbitration, or any other collective or representative proceeding against us.

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions

You can review the most current version of the Terms and Conditions at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes.
